A day comes when we each will close our eyes for a final time on this side of eternity. Non-negotiable.

And then a new journey, a solo journey, begins as instantly as the old one ends.

If you're lucky, it should be peaceful.

If you're lucky, it should be painless.

If you're lucky, those that loved you will miss you. Weep for you.

Honour you, even.

But none of that will matter. Because, poor or rich, young or old, male or female, sick or healthy, if you're lucky, you'll be in too much of a better place, for your once earthly status to be relevant.

If you're lucky, questions that burned internally will finally be answered.

If you're lucky, consistent emptiness may finally give way to heavenly completeness. If you're lucky, you actually do get to rest, in Peace. And joy. And love.

If, you're lucky.
